India is one of the fastest growing air markets in the world. After new foreign policy of investment in the air market, lots of new airlines have been started or invested in India. There are lots of private airlines increased their presence in India by ordering new fleets and destinations. We have compiled a list of the largest airlines in India according to market share.

1. IndiGo

IndiGo is one of the fastest growing private airlines in India. IndiGo has a market share of more than 27 percent and ranked at the first position. The IndiGo Airlines is wholly owned by the InterGlobe Enterprises and serves in major destinations of India such as Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore (Bengaluru) and New Delhi. The fleet size IndiGo Airlines is more than 22 aircraft, which served more than 5 million passengers.
